Blueberry Wensleydale is a handcrafted cheese made in Yorkshire. It is made from the milk of cows that graze on the limestone meadows on the surrounding farms in Upper Wensleydale. This gives the cheese its unique flavor.
The cheese is none other than Wensleydale, but young and fresh, with only three weeks of maturation the cheese acquires a clean and smooth flavor, slightly sweet with an aftertaste of honey.
The superb texture of fresh Wensleydale is perfectly complemented by the addition of all natural blueberries of the best quality. The cheese wheels are waxed in a beautiful purple color, that mixed with a white paste sprinkled with bright red blueberries, offers an exceptional visual experience.
